-Quality Subtitled Crack, oops, I mean Anime

9/9/2007: Sorry, but we are still closed due to living overseas and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. My apologies to anyone who really wants a title that only we seem to carry, but it is physical impossible to distribute any titles as several thousand miles separate me from my fansub archive.

Notice: Due to lack of interest in VHS, we are not going to stock the custom-loaded tapes anymore. They’re not just worth ordering them by the hundreds. We now use store-bought tapes of equal quality. Also, the printer used for making labels is broken and cannot seem to be fixed. This makes me very sad. Luckily, you get your own labels to put on the tapes. We will put a post-it note on the tape so that you know what tape it is, and then you can write the title on the label so you can read it. This saves you the trouble of having to make out my chicken scratch handwriting. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

5/29/2006: Random Masters will be closing for at least one year effective July 1^st, 2006 because I’m moving abroad. Although the rise of high speed internet connections has made it easy to download thousands of anime titles, we still get orders every now and then for titles that cannot be easily acquired elsewhere. It’s been a pleasure running this operation, and I’m pleased I made a lot of people happy. So have fun, and sorry you’ll have to get your anime somewhere else.

Last, oh yes, we certainly did impress Lynn Minmay.

5/07/2005: YES, WE LIVE! So what have we been doing? Making DVD-Rs of Sexy Commando 1-50 (complete series) and the Hana Yori Dango movie! We’ve also got in several other DVDR titles like Macross Zero OVA 1-5 (complete series), Bleach 1-4, and many others! Fast link: DVD-R Distribution List

Also, the digisub group Minor Ja Nai is using our scripts (with permission, hey we offered it to them) for their avi subtitling of Hiatari Ryoukou! Episodes 1-4. Download an episode or two off bittorrent; it’s good stuff.

6/30/2004: New DVD-R Title Available – Lingerie Soldier Papillion Rose OVA, subtitled by Old Lazy Bastards (our ShinNewtype and a friend of his at Beefbowl Anime). This infamous OVA is a hilarious parody of Cutey Honey and Sailor Moon. It’s not considered hentai (anime porn) in Japan, but it’s not for kids. I’d recommend 17+.
